Cloudmind raises $18M to make AI quality measurable

Cloudmind Team ·

We raised $18M in Series A funding led by Ridgeline Ventures, with participation from Halyard Capital and the angels who backed our seed.

What this changes

Not the pricing, and not the free tier. Both stay as they are.

What it changes is how fast we can build the things customers keep asking for. Three areas in particular:

Evaluation depth. Better judge calibration tooling, multi-turn conversation evaluation, and evals that understand agent trajectories rather than just final outputs.

Self-hosted parity. Self-hosted deployments currently lag managed by about a release. We are closing that to zero.

Scale. Our largest customers are pushing a billion spans a month and the ingestion path needs to get meaningfully cheaper to keep pricing where it is.

Where we are

1,400 teams, profitable on a gross basis, 38 people. We took this round because the roadmap is bigger than what we could fund from revenue in a reasonable timeframe, not because we needed the runway.

Hiring

We are adding roughly 15 people this year across engineering, developer relations and go-to-market. Roles are on the careers page.

Thanks to everyone who has been filing bug reports and telling us what is missing. Most of what shipped in the last year came from those conversations.
