The challenge
Foundry Labs had 14 product teams independently building LLM features, each with its own logging approach and none with evaluation. Regulatory constraints meant no prompt or completion data could leave their network, which ruled out every managed vendor.
What they did
The platform team deployed self-hosted Cloudmind via the Terraform module into their existing VPC, wired it to Okta for SSO and SCIM, and published a paved-path SDK wrapper. Teams onboarded themselves; the platform team set the guardrails.
